One must keep in mind that having too much gelatin might lead to bloating and digestive issues and necessarily exacerbate existing period symptoms.
  • Exercising Doing high-intensity exercises can cause the brain to experience stress, which may aid in delaying periods. However, those who engage in intensive exercise are also more likely to experience amenorrhea, the loss of a normal menstrual cycle, and other hormonal issues. This is why one must be cautious and do any form of exercise with caution.
  • Eating lentils It is believed that eating fried gram lentils might delay periods. That said, there is no scientific proof suggesting that lentils help with delayed periods.   • Consuming fewer spicy foods Overeating spicy and hot meals can cause one's period to come a day or two early. This is because of increased estrogen levels. If one wants to delay their period, they must avoid eating spicy meals a few days before it.
